Between March and June 2019, while in the role of Data & Analytics Platform Leader, I led an effort to migrate one of McKesson’s large enterprise data warehouses to the cloud. In August 2019, I delivered this presentation to a group of approximately 100 technologists in the Phoenix metroplex around the 90 Day Journey to migrate IBM Netezza to Snowflake. The project was very successful as it came in on time and under budget. It also led me to position Snowflake to play a more significant role as the key data hub solution within the technology stack. Because of this project, and several other key Snowflake initiatives I led while in this role, I was recognized by Snowflake through their annual Data Driver Awards.
